Mirrors is the skill of detection and perception.

Effects[edit | edit source]

Each point of Mirrors increases the speed of calculating firing solutions in combat, meaning your weapons can all fire more often and more accurately.

WeaponSpeedBonus = WeaponSpeed * Mirrors / 333

from which follows that

WeaponSpeedMultiplier = 1 - Mirrors / 333

In general, Deck and Forward weapons will fire 0.06 seconds faster for every 5 points of Mirrors (as currently they all have a 4 second warmup). For example, at Mirrors 100, a Deck or Forward weapon (with 4s warm-up) is able to fire every 2.8 seconds.

Note that while this skill's base level is capped at 200, it can be increased further by equipment and Officers. While hitting 333 (which would completely remove the warmup) is currently impossible (due to lack of such powerful items and Captains), farming this skill to 200 is quite easy both in Whither and by spending Secrets in your Study, allowing you to get to about 250 with full Mirror setup; the firing time gets reduced to 1/4 by then. +100 to Mirrors is also a great boost to give to a new Captain, so a related Legacy might be a good choice.
