"A shimmering complexus of steel and glass. In its heart, a serpent-king rages. Or so the Magician claims."
Obtaining[edit | edit source]
The Serpentine can only be obtained if you have The Satisfied Magician aboard your ship. This requires you to complete The Genial Magician's promotion questline. However, once it has been completed, you can purchase another Serpentine at any time, at the Drydock in London.
Notes[edit | edit source]
Relatively easy to acquire early on in the game, although won't largely impact the speed of the Ligeia-class Steamer ship. Consider WE ARE CLAY instead.
Can be turned in to the Fathomking to fulfill the requirement for a Your Father's Bones: a Miracle of Science for the Fathomking as part of the putting your Father's Bones to rest victory condition. You get 1 Iron, 1 Secret, 1 Outlandish Artefact and 1 Leadbeater & Stainrod 'Boadicea'. This is probably the best option to complete this request, as you can purchase another Serpentine at any time (assuming you have not lost The Satisfied Magician somehow in the meantime).
