Killing a Thalatte and dissecting it for knowledge provides 5. Choosing to give the Cargo of Answers to the Drownie Historians at Scrimshander also provides 5.
Usage[ | ]
You'll need 2 for the Sigil-Ridden Navigator's quest in the Chapel of Lights. They are fairly easy to obtain from The Uttershroom using a Strange Catch, so don't waste your hold space on them. If you're in dire need of hull repair, The Fathomking's Hold will also accept one as payment for restoring your hull to full health.
They can also be sold to the Roser's Wharf or The Alarming Scholar for 150 or 100 echoes each respectively.
