==Weapon Slots== All ships, no matter their size, can mount a Deck weapon. Larger ships may also be able to mount a Foward weapon, and possibly an Aft weapon. Each weapon is designed for only one of these three slots, and cannot be mounted elsewhere. * '''Deck weapons''' have a very wide firing angle and a good range. * '''Forward weapons''' have a much narrower firing angle, but a better range. Most are specialized and have interesting properties, either doing extra damage to beasts and crew, or staggering enemies and doing extra damage to ships. All torpedo-launchers and flensing weapons are Forward-mounted. * '''Aft weapons''' can fire upon enemies <strike>while the ship is fleeing from them</strike> which have snuck up behind our brave London zee-captains! They take longer to aim, but deliver powerful attacks that stagger enemies for a longer time. The Aft equipment slot is unique in that its [[Ship equipment#List of Aft Equipment|pieces of equipment]] include both weapons and non-weapons.
